Lubeworld® & Washworld® is adopting a rapid but controlled growth strategy to ensure the quality and consistency of our program and provide a strong support base for our franchisees. Our initial expansion will take place in the province of British Columbia with a long-term commitment to becoming the leading oil change company in Canada accompanied by Washworld, the Car Wash leader.

We currently have a number of premium established Lubeworld® Centres available to be sold as turn-key franchises in the lower mainland of British Columbia. In addition new franchise opportunities for both Lubeworld® and Washworld® Centres are available for Burnaby and Coquitlam.

All Lubeworld® Centres are situated adjacent to our Washworld® centres to capitalize on the synergy and maximize cross-marketing opportunities between the two concepts.

We strongly believe that the success of our franchisees is based on our franchisee-selection process and your desire to succeed. We consider that one of the most important attributes requires your commitment to listen and learn and make constant improvements in the way you operate your franchised business. In choosing franchisees, preference will be given to applicants who:

  • Appreciate the benefits of working on a team and within a proven system of operation
  • Are disciplined self-starters with a high level of personal integrity and have the desire to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Possess good organization skills and scheduling abilities
  • Are familiar with and involved in the community where the business is located
  • Will actively work in and manage the business
  • Have the funds to invest in the business

The investment for a standard new Lubeworld® Centre ranges between $ and $ – turn-key, dependent upon many factors including: actual tender costs for build and equipment, site services, local conditions and landlord contributions toward the development costs.

To demonstrate our belief in the Lubeworld® franchise opportunity, we guarantee a portion of bank financing obtained from a financial institution by the franchisee.

We have developed a “Mutual Investigation Process” which allows both parties to exchange information in a sequential manner and proceed at their own pace. During this process you will be required to provide adequate information for us to evaluate your potential as a franchisee. At the same time, you will be receiving sufficient information from us about the franchise opportunity that will allow you to decide if you wish to move forward at each stage of the application process.

Step 1. The Initial Enquiry
The first step is to thoroughly read the information above. If you are still interested in pursuing a Lubeworld® franchise, you should complete and submit the Initial On-line Enquiry Form located at the end of this section.

During this phase we will:

  • Explain the total level of investment and minimum cash requirement
  • Determine your preferred location
  • Discuss your time frame to opening
  • Provide you with our Request for Information and Consideration Form

Step 2. Franchise Application

Once you have confirmed a definite interest in a Lubeworld® – Washworld® franchise and we are satisfied that you can meet the financial obligations we will forward to you a Request for Information and Consideration Form for you to complete and forward to our Corporate Office for our review.

Step 3. The Personal Meeting
We will review your Request for Information and Consideration Form within 5 business days. Successful candidates will then be invited to visit one of our locations to see first hand a Lubeworld® – Washworld® Centre in full operation and receive investment information.

At this time you will be required to execute a Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to being provided with more in-depth information.

Step 4. Offer to Purchase Agreement
Should we mutually decide to proceed, the next step is for you to execute our standard form of Offer to Purchase Agreement and pay a deposit of $5,000, which is fully refundable.

  • At this time we will provide you with a copy of our Franchise Agreement.

Step 5. Review the Franchise Documentation
Once the Offer to Purchase Agreement has been executed and the deposit has been paid you will have 15 days to:

  • Have the Franchise Documentation reviewed by a lawyer who is experienced in the field of franchising *
  • Execute the Franchise Agreement and pay the balance of the initial franchise fee (plus GST on the full amount of the initial franchise fee).

If during this 15-day period, you decide not to proceed with the franchise or we elect not to proceed with your application, your entire deposit will be returned to you without delay.

* We thoroughly review the Franchise Agreement with you so that you have a clear understanding of what is involved before you have it reviewed by a lawyer.

Step 6. Find a Location

If a location hasn’t already been determined, your search for a suitable location within your territory will commence.

Step 7. Initial Training Program

While your store is being developed, you will attend the Initial Training Program at one of our Lubeworld® – Washworld® Centres.

Step 8. Commence Business

You commence business as a Lubeworld® or Washworld® franchisee.

NOTE: This Mutual Investigation Process has been designed to assist the franchise applicant in determining if a Lubeworld® and or Washworld® franchise meets their requirements. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to change and amend the sequence of events without notice.
